YaraBela SULFAN is an innovative product that improves the efficiency of nitrogen fertilizers, thanks to the mutually supportive and simultaneous action of nitrogen, sulfur, and calcium.

Nitrogen and sulfur
Nitrogen, present as nitrate in an immediately assimilable form and as ammonium with a longer-lasting effect, strongly promotes crop growth. Sulfur supports the formation of enzymes and protein compounds, increasing both yield and quality parameters. In addition, losses are reduced: potentially, for every kilogram of sulfur below the crop deficiency threshold, a loss of 15 kilograms of nitrogen may occur. Therefore, the simultaneous presence of nitrogen and sulfur in the correct nutritional ratio and in easily soluble forms is of vital importance.

Calcium
Calcium, a structural component of cell walls, ensures tissue strength and greater resistance to diseases. Moreover, calcium is absorbed together with nitrate nitrogen, improving its effectiveness. Calcium plays a key role in recovery from winter stress and in reducing plant lodging.

Calcium improves soil structure, increases water infiltration and aeration. For these reasons, calcium is particularly necessary in challenging soil environments where compaction, crust formation, water stagnation, and generally low organic matter levels are observed.
